Grey light will be projected on to the walls and a black sand will be projected on to the floor, with hints of glitter so that it almost shimmers. The acrylic box in the centre will be a darker grey to the walls with a grey point just above it on the back wall- this will represent the volcano. The stage will be very dimly lit with white light coming from the floor of the front stage to create an eerie feel as Bill stands by the water.

The black sand will remain projected on to the floor and the walls be projected with a blurred landscape of the island. The large acrylic box will have a collage of 1950’s magazine clippings projected on to its front walls, showing the audience that this is Mill’s house. White lights will shine into the box, lighting up the room where Mill and Francis will perform.

Projections are the same as scene 7 and the floor will open up again to display the water in the front stage as Rebecca and Francis are ‘by the docks’. The stage will be brightly lit.
